Texting with Atrium? We never sell your number or share it for marketing. Reply STOP to any message to stop. How we handle texts
This Privacy Policy explains what information Atrium LLC ("Atrium," "we," "us") collects when you use the Atrium platform and website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to atrium.run and to the Atrium application at app.atrium.run.
Atrium is a business-to-business advertising platform. Our customers are businesses, and the account information we collect is business contact information. This policy also covers the limited information we handle about visitors to our customers' websites, described in section 4.
1. Information you give us
When you create an account and use Atrium, we collect:
- Account details: your name, email address, and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We never receive your Google password.
- Business details: your company name, industry, website address, and the products or services you tell us you sell.
- Campaign information: budgets, flight dates, goals, the TV and streaming networks you select, and the postal codes you choose to target.
- Creative assets: scripts, images, audio, and video you upload or generate in Creative Studio.
- Messages: what you type into the in-app assistant, and any support correspondence.
2. Information we collect automatically
- Your website's public content. When you ask Atrium to scan your site to build a brand kit, we fetch and analyze pages that are already publicly available on that site.
- Campaign delivery data. Impressions, clicks, and conversions reported back to us by the Atrium Performance Network.
- Usage and technical data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used to operate and secure the service.
3. Payment information
Atrium never sees or stores your full card number. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and card details are entered directly into Stripe's systems. We retain only a payment reference, the last four digits, the card brand, and a record of amounts you have added to your wallet.
4. Your website visitors and advertising measurement
If you install an Atrium tag or conversion pixel on your own website, we receive limited information about visits to your site, such as IP address, page URL, timestamp, and whether a conversion occurred. We use this to measure whether the advertising we run for you worked, and to build advertising audiences on your behalf.
If you install our tag, you are responsible for providing any notice and obtaining any consent that the law requires of you, and for maintaining your own privacy policy describing it.
We do not use one customer's measurement data to serve a different customer's advertising.
5. How we use information
- To provide the service: run your campaigns, produce creative, report results, and bill you accurately.
- To communicate with you about your account, campaigns, and payments.
- To secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
- To improve the platform, including its targeting and optimization models. Where we use customer data for this purpose, we use it in aggregated or de-identified form.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Who we share information with
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only to deliver the service:
- Supabase: database hosting, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel: application hosting and delivery.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- The Atrium Performance Network (Sonobi): buying and delivering your TV and streaming advertising.
- Anthropic: powers the in-app assistant. Your messages and the account context needed to answer them are sent to Anthropic to generate a response.
- ElevenLabs and OpenAI: generate voice and images in Creative Studio from the prompts and assets you provide.
- Resend: sends transactional email such as verification, invitations, and receipts.
- Google: if you choose to sign in with Google.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you.
7. Google user data
When you sign in with Google, Atrium requests only your basic profile and email address. We use that information solely to create and authenticate your account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed above who host our systems. Atrium's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Atrium's access at any time from your Google account permissions page.
8. Data retention
We keep account and campaign records for as long as your account is active and afterwards as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, generally seven years for billing records. Measurement data collected through our tags is retained for up to 24 months. When you close your account, we delete or de-identify your data within 90 days, except records we are required to keep.
9. Your choices and rights
- Access, correct, or delete your account information from within the app, or by emailing us.
- Export your campaign and reporting data by request.
- Opt out of measurement tags at any time by removing the Atrium tag from your site, or by contacting us.
- Close your account at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, such as the right to know what we hold, to request deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell), and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. To make a request, email team@atrium.run. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the period the law requires.
10. Security
We protect data in transit and at rest with industry-standard encryption, restrict internal access to those who need it, and isolate each customer's data at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International transfers
Atrium is based in the United States and our service providers process data in the United States. If you access the service from elsewhere, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
12. Children
Atrium is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use Atrium after a change means you accept the updated policy.
14. Text messages
This section explains how we handle information in our two text messaging programs, Atrium Account Messages and Atrium Chat TV, described in Section 12 of our Terms of Service. It adds to the rest of this policy. Where they differ on a texting matter, this section controls.
What we collect
- Your number and messages: your mobile number, the messages you send us and our replies, the keyword you texted, and when each message was sent.
- Consent and opt-out records: when and how you agreed to receive texts, and every opt-out or opt-in request, so we can honor it.
- Delivery information: delivery status and carrier information our messaging provider returns, such as whether a message was delivered.
- Account link: for Account Messages, which Atrium account your number is linked to, and the answers you give when you sign up by text.
- Links you open: when you open a link we texted, that it was opened, and the technical information described in Section 2, such as device type, browser, and IP address.
How we use it
- To reply to you and carry out what you ask, including running your account by text when you ask.
- To create your account when you sign up by text, and to send verification codes and one-time sign-in links that keep your account secure.
- To send payment links and confirmations, campaign updates you ask for, and reminders or reports you schedule.
- To pass a Chat TV inquiry to the advertiser whose commercial you responded to, and to measure which commercial and airing prompted a response.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the service secure, honor opt-outs, and meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- No marketing sharing: We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing with subcontractors that support these services, such as customer service, is permitted. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every other category of sharing and will not be shared with any third parties.
- Service providers: our messaging provider delivers messages; our payment processor, Stripe, handles payments made from our links; and our AI provider processes message content so the automated assistant can reply. They act on our behalf under contract and may not use your information for their own purposes.
- Chat TV advertisers: when you text an advertiser's keyword, your number, the keyword, and your answers go to that advertiser so it can respond to your request. Its own privacy policy governs its use.
- Legal reasons: as described in Section 6, we may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
- We do not sell phone numbers or message content, and we do not share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your choices
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any message, or send a clear request such as "stop texting me." We stop texting that number and record the opt-out so it is honored. Reply START to receive texts again, or HELP for help.
- Unlink or delete: ask us at team@atrium.run to unlink your number from your account or to delete your message history, subject to records the law requires us to keep, such as opt-out records.
- Access: ask for a copy of the messages and information we hold about your number, as described in Section 9.
Security and retention
- Text messages travel over mobile carrier networks and are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not text passwords, full card or bank numbers, Social Security numbers, or health information. Atrium will never ask for them by text.
- We protect phone numbers and messages with the measures in Section 10 and limit access to the people who need it to provide the service.
- We keep message records while your account is active or as long as needed to provide the service, and consent and opt-out records as long as needed to honor them and meet legal obligations. After that we delete or de-identify them.
Children
Our texting programs are not directed to anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor texted us, we delete the information we received.
Message frequency varies: for Atrium Chat TV, one reply for each message you send; for Atrium Account Messages, it varies with your requests and the reminders you set. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or contact bill@atrium.run or 253-514-5332.
